Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Beyonce, three of hip-hop’s hottest stars, have come together on a track titled, “Lift Off,” which is off the Watch the Throne album. The album is in stores now and is the debut album of The Throne, which is a hip hop duo comprised of Jay and Kanye.
With a little over 48 hours left until their highly anticipated album Watch The Throne hits iTunes, Jay-Z and Kanye West have released a teaser trailer for it that is sure to have leave fans hyped and wanting more. Check the video below:
I hope this album lives up to its hype. Watch The Throne will be released digitally on iTunes Monday, August 8th and in stores August 12th.

The countdown has officially begun! Jay-Z & Kanye West, collectively known as The Throne, hosted a private listening party for their upcoming album, Watch The Throne, at the Hayden Planetarium last night in New York City. Jay’s other half, Beyonce, sister-in-law Solange, and a host of others like Kelly Rowland, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Busta Rhymes, Q-Tip and more, all came out to wish him and his Lil Bro’ Kanye congrats.
Before the listening party Jay spoke with Angie Martinez and cleared up the rumors about him and Kanye having beef. Jay says:
I kinda want to spend a gazillion dollars. They got it backwards, but it’s all good. I know that we’re doing something right now. When I woke up to all that, I was like, ‘Oh yeah, we must be really hot right now. Yes, we get on each other’s nerves, but that’s part of pushing each other. We push each other. The people who have a problem with Kanye or myself are the people that are complacent in life. People don’t like to be pushed. It’s, like, annoying. It’s a thing when people are pushing you to be greater, and we push each other to be greater. So of course there are times when we’re in the studio, we’re yelling, but that’s about it.”
As for the rumor that Jay dealt Kanye a backhand he says:
I would never disrespect that man. I have so much respect for him. Put my hands on him?” Jay questioned rhetorically. “And if I did, it would be like the backyard, like brothers, and you would never hear about it.”
Back from a long trip in Europe, Beyonce and her hubby, Jay-Z, were seen taking a leisurely walk together along the Hudson River in Battery Park this weekend.

In other Beyonce news…in her ITV special, airing in December, she reveals that she too has insecurities.
On gross things you may see while she’s on stage:
My nose runs a lot and when I’m singing I can’t blow it, so there have been occasions when I’ve ended up with a ‘bubble’ coming out my nose.”
On sweating while on stage:
Everyone thinks I have the fans (wind machines) because I’m being fashionable, but I work so hard on stage if I didn’t have them I’d be dripping.”
On parts of her body she would change:
If I could change one part it would be my feet. After all the years dancing they’re a little beat up. And I wear big earrings because I don’t like my ears.”
She also admitted to wearing four pairs of stockings to prevent “unflattering” pictures and “keep me secure on stage” in the interview.

Matthew Knowles, has filed papers alleging members of his daughter’s team, Columbia Records, Live Nation and Jay-Z’s Roc Nation have been assassinating his character.
In an interview Thursday with The Associated Press he addressed the issue of theft….
We absolutely have not taken any money from Beyoncé, and all dollars will be accounted for. In no way have we stole money. Again, this is about the people who have made these claims — they have to come into the light.”
Beyonce fired her dad back in May and now she has an entirely new team, which includes execs from Live Nation as well as Roc Nation.
She changed almost every aspect of her business. The team ironically appeared to be a cross-pollination of Beyoncé’s team, Roc Nation’s team, and Live Nation’s team, who ironically have the most to gain.”
But Matthew said that he and his daughter are fine and there are no negative feelings towards one another.
The relationship with Beyoncé is extremely amicable. I want to make that clear. Where there’s concern is the people that she’s doing business with. I’m challenging all of these folks on integrity, professional integrity.”
Hmm… such a shame. I wonder when Bey will speak out about it, or if she even will.
One thing is for sure, whatever changes were made have been very positive for Bey because her new album is number one!
