Recently Ginuwine sat down with HoneyMag.com to discuss his upcoming album Elgin, love and marriage, and the Lisa Raye rumors. Ohhh weeeee!

On album, Elgin and collaborations:

I’m looking for that same energy and love from fans with my latest album. I call this one Elgin, it’s my real name. It reflects where I am as an artist, as a father, and as a husband. I’m still talking about love and relationships. That’s my strength. I don’t think anyone can talk about that subject the way I can. I’m a person that represents love in every aspect of the word. But there’s a maturity level there too. I’m not as care free as I once was. I’m way more skeptical of things and way more careful of what I do. Some of the songs on there are a bit risque, but you have to do that to keep the spice.

I chose to limit collaborations on this album because I like to give the audience all of me. I like for you to get me and me, only. I’m selfish when it comes to my albums. And if I’m gonna get someone its gonna be some women. I have Lil Kim and Trina on an album called Batteries.

On wife, Sole:

My love for my wife is my number one inspiration though. We’ve had our ups and downs and we’ve had our times where we thought we were gonna separate, but I think a strong woman makes a strong man. She’s been able to stick in there with me and I’ve put her through the mud. I attribute my success to her and she deserves every good thing I could possibly do for her and I try to do that as much as I can now.

My wife came into my life at a time when I was crazy. My dad had just killed himself and my mom died a year later from cancer. I just knew that she was the one. Since then, I’ve always told people that if you have to ask, that’s not the one. Deep inside, you know. But guys can get a little scared. Ultimately, marrying her was an easy choice. We were already living together. We already had a family. So I said, let me let her have her day – because the actual wedding day is for the women. It’s not been easy. Marriage is an ongoing process. You never master it.

Damn…LisaRaye is in her 40′s??? She looks fantastic.
In this video LisaRaye gives the full scoop on her husband’s devious business dealings. She also reveals her real age accidentally. The one thing that’s still off limits is her husband’s philandering ways!

This is the video that started the rumors about Ginuwine and Lisa Raye having an affair. After all these years he’s still fooooiiiine as all get out!!!!

Sole, Ginuwine’s wife of 5 years recently did an interview with Sister 2 Sister magazine. She’s denying rumors that claim she left Ginuwine over the Lisa Raye incident:

“I was like, that’s funny. First of all, I’m not packing up no four kids and disrupting their lives in the middle of the school year, I don’t care what he did. That’s just foolish,” Solé laughed. “But they were reporting this like they had seen me out here packing up my bags.”

Sole WAS however, a bit vexed about  G not telling her that LisaRaye was in his video OR that damaging rumors had surfaced:

“I don’t know if he was thinking, ‘It’s not true so I’m not even going to say nothing, because she probably won’t even hear it.’ Because I’m so removed from the industry that it would just blow over and not be a big deal.”

Hmmmm, something is fishy in the pot!!! Why didn’t Ginuwine tell his wife that Lisa Raye was starring in his video?? Furthermore, he should have at least warned her that rumors had surfaced so that she wouldn’t have to hear it through the gossip mill. I ‘m not yet convinced that he’s squeaky clean on this issue. Was he hiding something or Was he just guilty of making a bad decision??? You tell me. 

So I got calls from several sources today asking me if I heard about a beef between Queenpen and Rocsi. Allegedly Queenpen stepped to Rocsi at an event in New York last night, a heated argument ensued, and it ended with Queenpen throwing a drink in Rocsi’s face. Believe it or not, this whole thing was about Rocsi allegedly creeping with LisaRaye’s man, the honorable dishonorable Premier of Turks and Caicos, Michael Missick.

I had to put a call in to Rocsi to check on her because I look at her like a lil’ sis in the business and can relate to some of the obstacles she faces and will continue to face. I also hate to hear about two women fighting over a man, let alone two women that I like.

Rocsi says she is doing fine.  Rocsi was with her boss, Stephen Hill, at the time and would have looked crazy to scrap in front of him. I asked Rocsi if she wanted to give an “on the record” comment to address the story and the haters, she declined at this time. Honestly I don’t blame her. Anything said right now will only feed the hate and the rumor mill.

Interestingly enough, another source tells me that Queenpen was in Raleigh NC this weekend for the Radio One 2009 Women’s Empowerment Expo where she almost got into another fight at Idris Elba’s afterparty with a civilian. Idris actually shouted her out and said “Queenpen is that you starting trouble over there?”. The same source claims she was almost in another fight at the airport. Everybody knows that Queenpen carries a can of whoop-ass in her purse. Maybe she was beefing because they wouldn’t let her bring it on……lolol.

Anyhoo, Queenpen and I have known each other in the business for some years. We have always been straight and I have alot of love for her. She wrote a great book too! I just hope both ladies can resolve this quickly and nonviolently. Its not a good look for either of them to be scrapping in a club!!!!!

LisaRaye’s camp is denying a New York Post story suggesting that she and Ginuwine are getting freaky deaky. Her publicist says ” There is absolutely no truth to this story. My client and Ginuwine are just friends. Ginuwine is a married man. LisaRaye is still legally a married woman and has absolutely no time to even think about dating as she works to get both her personal and professional affairs in order.”

And yes Ginuwune is still married to rapper Sole’, who now goes by the name Tonya Lumpkin. They have two children together and others from previous relationships.

Since we are on the subject, someone forwarded me nude pics of LisaRaye. I certainly hope this isn’t recent.
