Nick Cannon recently sat down with Anderson Cooper and told him that he is definitely a hands on dad and wife Mariah Carey isn’t the fondest of changing dirty diapers of their 18-month-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.

Right now, the kids run the house. We are just running and chasing after them and then my wife is being the diva that she is. I am trying to keep up with them.

I mean we all do it but for some reason I get that duty a little bit more. I am not scared of it. I go in, I put the gloves on.”

Get ready for some hilarity!!!! BET’s “Real Husbands of Hollywood” has released a sneak peek of what we can expect from the show, though there still is no release date.

The cast includes Kevin Hart, Robin Thicke, Nelly, Nick Cannon and Boris Kodjoe. We can expect lots of guests as well such as Trey Songz, Nicole Ari Parker, Tisha Campbell-Martin, and Shaquille O’Neal to name a few.

Get ready for “The Real Husbands Of Hollywood.”

This is all based on a skit from the 2011 BET Awards, and comedian Kevin Hart is spearheading the project. The show is not a reality show, but rather a scripted and improv satire.

Husbands that will be involved are Nick Cannon, Nelly, Boris Kodjoe, Fazion Love, Duane Martin and Robin Thicke. 10 episodes have been ordered by BET and Sanaa Lathan’s dad, Stan Lathan, is set to direct.

So far no date has been set for the show to premiere.

With the departures of Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler from “American Idol,” the network is on a hunt for replacements. Mariah Carey’s name has been put in the mix, along with Aretha Franklin, but her hubby, Nick Cannon, said it’ll be a tall order and a BIG payday if Idol wants her.

I don’t know if they can afford Mariah Carey. That’s a lot of money. If they gave JLo $20 million, they might have to double that!”

LOL. He’s got that right! But being as successful and powerful as she is and has been, Mariah may be worth the money!!! Time will tell…

In an exclusive interview to Life & Style magazine, Nick Cannon revealed that he and Mariah are set to renew their vows for their 5th wedding anniversary - in a big way! The couple have renewed their vows every year since tying the knot in 2008 in the Bahamas. As for the reason why they have an annual renewal, Nick says, “We get married every year; it’s our thing. I just have to keep doing it to make sure it’s real!” Aww! Mr. & Mrs. Cannon will not only celebrate 5 years of wedded bliss on April 30th, but the 1st birthday of their twins, Moroccan and Monroe, which makes makes the day even more special. Nick shared, “It’s a family day. We’ll celebrate with them during the day and just the two of us at night.” The multi-talented business man has had a tough year with his recent health scare, but says it has taught him to value what is most important. “It goes to show you how much things can change. In tough times, you lean on family.”

Nick Cannon is home from the hospital after suffering from mild kidney failure while vacationing in Aspen with his family over the holidays. The “America’s Got Talent” host tweeted about his surgery saying he was awake during the procedure – yikes!

Cannon’s rep released a statement to People thanking everyone for their concern, and stating he is now at home recovering:

Nick Cannon was released over the weekend to be with his family. He is resting and recovering at home and would like to thank everyone who has expressed  concern, well wishes and prayers.”
