After his mild kidney scare in Aspen, CO, Nick Cannon appears to be recovering well. He posted a picture on his Twitter showing his friend giving him a haircut next to his hospital bed. He looked healthy and in good spirits, even managing to give the camera a little smile. The pic his wife, Mariah Carey, posted a few days prior showed him looking quite ill.

Nick has been tweeting throughout his stay at the hospital and attached with the photo he wrote, ”Getting back to business.”

Glad to see he’s feeling better!!!

Mariah Carey took to Twitter yesterday to let us know that hubby, Nick Cannon, is recovering from “mild” kidney failure in Aspen, CO. She tweeted a picture of them in a hospital bed with this caption,

Please pray for Nick as he’s fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure.”

She then took to her website to write more,

This is us in the hospital – role reversal; Last year it was me attached to the machines (after having dembabies) and Nick was there with me through it, and now here we are.

We’re trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful. They tried to kick me out of the hospital but here I am pon de bed with Mr. C.

We’re doing OK but we’re “straaaaaanded in Aspen”. #DramaticDivaPlace (I know, we could be in a lot worse places) but the truth is as long as we’re together, we’re OK.

I’m not trying to make light out of the situation because it’s a serious moment that’s very tough on all of us so please keep us and our family in your prayers. LYM.”

The couple had been celebrating the holidays in Aspen with their twins, Monroe and Moroccan.

Mariah Carey’s seven-month-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, have made their music video debut! Mariah collaborated with John Legend for “When Christmas Comes” and the video features shots of Nick Cannon, Mariah’s hubby, holding the babies and the couple celebrating the holidays with their families.

The 41-year-old also recently worked with Justin Bieber and they sang her hit song from 1994, “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” which is featured on his album, Under The Mistletoe. She told The Sun that she is “humbled” that it became a holiday classic.

I’m amazed and humbled by its popularity, even all these years later. And I think it’s great that people have the song as a ringtone. Who’d have thought, all those years ago when I wrote it, that it would still be having an impact today?”

Nick Cannon is one proud daddy and he isn’t afraid to show it! Over the weekend, at KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball in Los Angeles, Nick told US Weekly that his adorable twin babies with wife Mariah Carey are talking!

They say words, they do!”

When he was asked what Moroccan and Monroe are saying, he replied,

Not too many words. Just mamma, dadda, and babba. That’s it!”

Awwww!!! He also said how being a father has given him a completely different outlook on life.

[Fatherhood] has probably made me prioritize my life better. Spend more time on the things that actually matter in the world [rather] than just trying to be too frivolous. [I] know that it’s a ticking clock and [my] kids are growing every single day.

As for the family’s Christmas plans? There will be a lot of much needed relaxation!

It’s the only time we get to relax!”

One of the highlights from the 2011 BET Awards was definitely “Real Husbands of Hollywood.” There was a total of 3 skits that starred host, Kevin Hart, Bobby Brown, Jermaine Dupri, Nelly, and Nick Cannon. It was lightly poking fun at reality shows “Basketball Wives” and “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Tami Roman, who stars in VH1′s “Basketball Wives,” made a cameo in the final skit, which was absolutely hilarious!
