The stars aligned for a good cause as some of our favorite celebs stepped out in decadent style for the 2012 Angel Ball held at Cipriani Wall Street recently. The ball is held annually as part of Denise Rich’s Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research. The Foundation funds medical research for prevention and treatment of Lymphoma, Leukemia and related cancers. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, Ashanti and Nelly, Angela Simmons, Mama Tina, Solange, Smokey Robinson and more lent their support to the event.

Looks like fab times were had by all!!!

Beyoncé and Jay-Z weren’t the only lovers vacationing in Croatia. Bey’s baby sister, Solange, and her boo Alan Ferguson, joined the expectant Carter’s on the island of Hvar earlier this week. Ferguson is a famed video director who has directed videos for Jay-Z, Rakim, Fall Out Boy, Jewel, Katy Perry and more.

Solange was spotted sporting braids and played photographer while cruising the deck of a yacht in a magenta bathing suit. The lovebirds cozied up in a small boat as they made their way back to land.

Solange and Alan have enjoyed a low-profile relationship for a while, and she tweeted her fans to update them on their status: “In love….. 3 years and some change,” she wrote. She later tweeted: “Croatia is breathtaking. Paradise!”

The couple enjoyed their short break, as Solange has already flown back to the states and made appearances at Fashion Week Events.

This past weekend the Carter’s celebrated Beyonce’s 30th birthday in Italy. The larger than life couple went to romantic Venice for an intimate dinner party with a few close friends. Beyonce was spotted in a blue printed maxi halter dress and Mufasa steez pumps. Gwyneth Paltrow was also in town for the Venice Film Festival, and she joined the happy couple on their yacht. Solange came along for her big sister’s dinner party as well.

Since announcing her pregnancy last weekend on the VMA’s, the “Love on Top” songstress has reportedly received gifts from stars Rihanna, Oprah Winfrey, and of course her bff’s, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

A source explained:

Her phone hasn’t stopped ringing. She’s received dozens of bouquets of flowers, teddy bears, fruit baskets, you name it.”

I am excited for Beyonce! She is definitely the ‘hardest working woman in the industry’ and she deserves nothing but the best!!!

Last night, Solange and Tika Sumpter helped celebrate the Grand Opening of Dream Downtown, PH-D Rooftop Lounge and Marble Lane Restaurant in New York City.

Solange played DJ while guests such as Taraji P.Henson, Devin Thomas and Tyson Beckford mingled amongst themselves.

Knicks players Amar’e Stoudamire and Carmelo Anthony were spotted hanging out with Fabulous. They looked as though they were enjoying themselves!

And Sanaa Lathan looked stunning as always.

The celebs then took the party elsewhere to help support a good cause. The 3rd Annual Bent On Learning Benefit was held at the Urban Zen Center.

Carol’s Daughter doesn’t have just one direct demographic.  Solange’s hair is a different texture than mine.  So is Cassie’s.  Our skin and body types are different.  Today, people are blended.  And I think the three of us are a prime example.  Women in my family range from vanilla to the deepest chocolate.
