Ellen Degeneres is taking Paula Abdul’s place as the fourth judge on American Idol. Not a guest judge, A FULL-TIME judge! Does this mean she’ll be leaving her daytime talk show?? Not at all. Ellen says ” I will have a day job and a night job” she said on her talk show yesterday assuring everyone that she’s not going anywhere.

i AGREE W/LOU. WHAT DOESN ELLEN KNOW ABOUT MUSIC, AND WHY NOT JUST PAY PAULA? EVERYBODY ELSE INCLUDING THE NEW CHICK ON THE SHOW WAS MAKING MORE THAN PAULA, AND SHE WAS THERE SINCE THE SHOW STARTED. I WON’T BE WATCHING THE NEW SEASON.
