Gilbert Arenas & “Basketball Wives” Make Nice…For Now
Gilbert Arenas has been involved in a lawsuit for quite some time now with VH1′s “Basketball Wives: LA.” Last June, Arenas sued Shed Media in an attempt to get the show to stop from airing. He did so because he felt his baby mama, Laura Govan, was exploiting his name on television. When the show continued to air, Arenas went in for the cash.
Now, a judge granted his request and dropped the lawsuit over his fiancee’s role on the BBW, BUT he is free to bring it back to the courts whenever he wants. The show begged the courts to not allow him that option, but it looks like Arenas won that war. If the marriage doesn’t work out and he decides to bring the suit back to light, all he’d have to do is cover the show’s attorney fees of $32,618.
