Paris Jackson Tells Oprah She Was A Victim Of Bullying

Paris Jackson is a beautiful, well-spoken 14-year-old. The only daughter of the late Michael Jackson, sat down and opened up to Oprah Winfrey. She spoke of how she has been bullied- both at school and through cyber bullying- but that she won’t let it bring her down.
People have tried, but it doesn’t always work. At school, and some people try to cyber bully me. They try to get to me with words, but that doesn’t really work.”
Paris, who has hopes of being an actress, doesn’t understand why people choose to pick on her. She has a hard time figuring out who likes her for her and who wants to be her friend due to her celebrity status.
If I feel someone is being fake to me, I will just push away.”
Before their father died, Paris and her brothers, Prince Michael, 15, and Prince Michael II, 10, also knows an Blanket, were home-schooled. In 2009, shortly following the “Thriller” singers death, the kids all decided to go to school.
Paris told Oprah that her father always wanted her and her brothers to have the most fun that they could during their childhood, because he has missed out on a lot, becoming so popular musically at such a young age.
He told us that when he was younger he didn’t really have a childhood. He would always be stuck in the studio singing while the kids were out playing. He wanted us to have that.”
Paris also admitted that when she was younger, she was confused why her father put masks on them.
But I understand it now – why my dad would want our faces to be covered. When we went out without him we wouldn’t be recognized.”
Thanks to those masks, the kids were able to go to the arcade, and even took trips to Chuck E Cheese’s.
Michael’s mom, Katherine Jackson, takes care of Paris and her brothers.
