Randy Jackson OUT As “American Idol” Judge
“American Idol” has been the talk of the summer with major shake-ups!
Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler are both not returning as judges on FOX’s hit shot, many wondered whether or not Randy Jackson would stay. Well, you don’t have to wonder anymore. He is officially leaving the judge’s table. He will, however, remain as a “mentor” for the contestants.
Sources told TMZ that some are concerned if Randy is “suited” for the mentor role, but he has been the one person who has been with the show since its debut. Mariah Carey will be a judge and will more than likely be joined by Nicki Minaj, though that deal hasn’t been finalized. Idol is hoping to have four judges again, so the 3rd and 4th chairs still need to be filled.
