Say it Ain’t So: Oprah Ending Her Show ?!?!
Oprah Winfrey, the queen of daytime T-V, will end her reign in 2011. Oprah will make the announcement today (Friday) that she’ll end her popular talk show as she prepares to launch her own cable channel. New York’s W-A-B-C says, “The sun will set on the Oprah show as its 25th season draws to a close on September 9th, 2011.” Once the show ends, Oprah plans to devote her time to OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, which launches on cable in January 2011.
The Oprah Winfrey Show began in 1986. That’s right, she’s been the boss lady for 23 years!!!
