Tiny & Toya’s Bitchfest
Posted on Wednesday, July 1st, 2009 at 10:21 am
I tried, I honestly tried to sit and watch the entire debut of Tiny & Toya on BET. My weak stomach and low tolerance for whining wouldn’t permit me to sit past 20 mins.
First let me say, Tiny’s house is gorgeous and her mother is such a nice, supportive woman. This helped me like her a little bit more. But that damn Toya needs to be shaken. She whined and complained about not being able to find a good man the entirrrrrrre episode. Girl welcome to the “I’m Young, Black, and Single Club”, 16 million members and counting.
Nothing drives my blood pressure up more than women who feel like having a man gives them self worth. I wanted to hop through the tv set and shake her senseless. Lil Wayne is not coming back girl. He’s chasing twats from here to Ghana. Stop trekking over to Tiny’s house to cry on her couch, and go out into the world and get yourself some business!!!

lol thats true”’this looks like another drama reality shows again” relatinonships and baby mama topics””
Who do I call to get this removed from air?
I stopped watching after the pajama party. I’m surprised I made it that far. NOT everyone deserves a reality show!
I actually enjoyed the show. Looking forward to more.
I like the show.People talk bad about Tiny & Toya but my thing is if you really don’t like them that much……The turn the freakin channel.
I’m sure there are other things on that will catch you attention….But u choose to sit there and watch something you don’t like. Then you must not have anything better 2 do in ur life!
Anyways I love reality tv and I love this show and I can’t wait until next weeks episode!
It’s so obvious that the last comment above is from either TINY or TOYA. those are the only two people in the world that would like that show.
Besides, Egypt said she tried to support the show, same as me. Nobody was talking bad about you Tiny or Toya. We were talking bad about the show.
That’s what people normally do when a new show comes on. They give it a chance. If it sucks then they turn, if its good then they watch.
Now E you know you dead wrong for this review. Those girls are trying to do something positive. At least you could do is support them. Or don’t say nothing at all. I still love you.
Egypt, Egypt, Egypt, Honey!!! I FEEL YOU!!!! Although I watched the entire episode and I came up with the same conclusion, that it was just to much whinning and complaining and not enough, getting off their ass and doing something different. I see this first season is going to give me a major headache and I’ll be the one in need of “girl talk” with my home-girls around a fire, sipping wine and martini’s. Lol. Best to them both, I’m not hating…..I want them to do them and that’s just that….do them and worry about the other crap at another time. I mother always told me…..get a life of your own and that’s when your man (or the man that’s meant for you) will come around and show you some attention. I want these ladies to get some BUSINESS.
Ladies, we are where we are because of the decisions we made or did not make. People fail to realize that they are in control of their on destiny and have much more control no matter what’s going on around them. You have to live for self in a relationship or not, life owes you nothing and tomorrow is not promised to you or your partner. It is what it is.
Egypt that was harsh….When I put myself in Toya’s shoes I can try to understand where she is coming from. She was with the same man since she was 13 and this was one of the first people to show her affection. Not only that, he was her husband and is the father of her child. AND she’s young. Give her a chance. She’s trying. Sometimes it’s not easy to let go of a guy. Everyone grieves in their own time and in their own way.
BTW, I liked the show. They seem genuine to me so I’m lovin’ it
glad i didnt waste my time!
you can take a bitch out of the ghetto…
..but…
Why did Tiny get her lips done? She was soo cute before that, what the
hell man. Anyway, I like the show, I think is both of these women are strong
but I would love to see them do something else like enroll in college shoot its never to late for that. I’ll be keeping up with this show as long as it doesn’t start to annoy me.
Ghetto fab TV isn’t my flavor usually but I did like this show. I appreciate realness ghetto or not. I can’t stand Tiny’s annoying ass voice though. And Toya talks like she’s got rocks in her mouth or sumthin. I think the show will be a hit though. You just got to give them a chance because it was only the 1st episode.
I was able to watch the episode and I didn’t think it was horrible but…its absolutely crystal clear that Toya’s sense of self and identity as a woman and a mom is completely absent. Why else would you introduce yourself as somebody’s ex-wife. I feel sorry for her. What kind of example is she to her daughter? All that whining and crying about Wayne…..no one wants their marriage to fail, but would she be jocking this dude if he was a janitor somewhere. I doubt it…..
BET giving all these women shows for what? Oh yeah, it’s a woman running BET
I watched the show and I actually liked it. Tiny’s voice is a little annoying but all in all it was ok. Toya was not whinning about not being able to find a man the whole show. If you watched you would have noticed that she was whinning about wanting her mom off the streets of New Orleans and she was going around looking for her. It wasn’t really until they were sitting around the fire that she started talking about men. Just wanted to voice my opinion on that.
I liked the show. They were not acting ghetto. There is a difference between country and ghetto. The girls were not out flashing their money or obessing over materialistic things. I think everyone just needs to give them a chance. This is only the first episode and they have to give the back story before they start jumping into the changes and positive stuff that have accomplished.
All I know is Toya really look like Ms.Piggy
I watched the show both times it aired.and I must say I LIKE the show, some people can be so judgemental at times.there’s really nothing to Dislike about the show.all I see is 2 beautiful women that sharing their life with the world.I don’t see ghetto trash or country bumpkins etc.Toya is beautiful and Tiny is beautiful.what touched me about the show is when Tiny asked Toya “what can I do to help you? I know I can’t fix the problem but, what can I do to make you feel a lil better?” How many of us have real friends like that??? Both have kind spirits and I wish I was on they level BET give me a show or a friend sh!t
I LOVE YOU TINY & TOYA……………..ATL YEAH BABYY
puhlease stop with the code words. country is ghetto. maybe you meant backwords. i stayed up till 3am watching this show the same day of the awards, and as much as i like this show i don’t want to keep contributing to the problem and i don’t want to rationalize my guilt into continuing to support this show. it’s the same thing with college hill and a bunch of other shit on bet. so no. not going to watch this show. i’m sorry i’m not giving it a full chance but egypt is right in some parts…please don’t insult ghana
and i just feel like this show isn’t necessary at all. really. the storyline…is compelling but what is the point of this show. like i need to be the same as them to be successful or ever have any money. why are they being rewarded like so many other losers with their own show. w/e. tv is dead either way and reality sucks more than a$$
i don’t watch tv often, and reality tv especially. BUT the show was better than i expected. Tiny’s voice wld run me away b/4 the story line and i hope she doesn’t get any more work done. geessshhhhhhhhh
A word to Mertz: Country is not ghetto fool.
I’m all for making money. But these fake reality shows are jamming up the air waves with the baby moma drama. Toya is begging Lil Wayne to get back with her it makes me want to barfffffffffff! Any person that can relate to Toya needs to get a backbone. Love the skin u r in everything else will fall in place. Toya doesn’t even know that she is grown. She told her mom she needs to take care of her kids (aren’t they grown? The crack smoking needs to stop but maybe if people deal with private issues privately the outcome will be better. First Keisha Cole now this where will it stop?
honestly I didn’t see the show but I was irked before hand by the fact that they where suppose to be two women out for self independence but u introduced urself as t.i. girl n lil wayne ex wife what kind of self independence is that …n if toya aint introduce herself as waynes ex wife she probably would of had a chance at self independence seeings thou nobody knew of her before the show……..
I agree with Egypt. This show seems to be a complaint fest. I do hope that Toya’s mom not only get off the pipe but that Toya will find her inner strength in releasing lil Wayne. I’ll watch to see what Tiny is getting into professionally too. I hope this show ends on a positive note.
