Father Executes Son Over Molesting 3Yr Old Sister
What would cause a boy’s father to make him strip butt naked, lead him into a field, and then shoot him in the head execution style?? Apparently in this home, molesting a baby sister is an excuse for a death sentence. I still can’t comprehend how something like this could happen. Check out the story below:
The family of slain 15-year-old Jamar Pinkney, Jr. was overcome with emotions Wednesday as his father was led into court and arraigned on first-degree murder charges in his death. Police said Jamar Pinkney, Sr. forced his son, Jamar Pinkney Jr., to get naked and then he led him out of his mother’s Highland Park home Monday and shot him execution-style in the head in a nearby field. Jamar Pinkney, Sr. was charged with first-degree murder, which carries a maximum penalty of life in prison without chance for parole. He was also charged with three counts of felonious assault and felony with a firearm. Highland Park Judge Bridgette Officer arraigned the 37-year-old on the charges Wednesday afternoon in 30th District Court. Jamar Pinkney, Sr. pleaded guilty at the arraignment…

“In the event that there’s evidence that he did do this…that’s something that either a jury or a judge would have to take a good, hard look at,” said the defendant’s attorney, Corbett Edge O’Meara.
A judge ordered the father held without bond and set a preliminary examination for Dec. 1. “You seen the look on this face, no expressions or nothing, just a cold-hearted murder,” said one of the victim’s family members outside the courtroom Wednesday. The victim’s mother and her sister told police that Jamar Pinkney, Sr. came into the home Monday afternoon with a gun and began arguing with his son. Family members said the argument stemmed from a confession made by the son. According to Jamar Pinkney, Jr.’s family, the teen told his mother that he’d touched his 3-year-old half-sister inappropriately at his father’s Detroit home. The toddler is his father’s daughter with another woman. Jamar Pinkney, Jr.’s aunt Yolanda Cherry told Local 4 she was in the home during the argument. “He beat my nephew real bad in the head, where he had knots like he had been in a boxing ring,” said Cherry. When Cherry tried to intervene, she said, the father pulled out a gun.
“I ran down the street to get police down here and I heard a gunshot,” said Cherry. Witnesses at the scene told Local 4 that they saw Jamar Pinkney, Sr. order the naked teen out of the home and to an empty field. A woman who did not want her identity revealed told Local 4 what she saw.
“He brought him out the house, he walked him over there and said, ‘Get on the ground,’ and he’s like, ‘No, Daddy, no, Daddy,’ and next thing you know, he grabbed his head and he shot him,” said the witness. The witness said the father calmly got into his vehicle and drove away. “He was calm and drove off like a regular person, like he didn’t do anything, and I am like, ‘wow,’” said the witness. Police were looking for the father after he fled the area. He was caught a few hours later. “Whatever my grandson did there, there is nothing in this world that was worth taking his life. He got him down on his knees and killed him,” said the boy’s grandfather.
Lazette Cherry, the boy’s mother, told Fox 2 that shortly after driving away the father called her, a call she believes was meant for his girlfriend.
“He didn’t realize he was calling my phone,” she told Fox 2. “He said, ‘Baby, I took care of this.’”“No individual has the right to exact the death penalty on another, no matter how reprehensible the behavior. That is why we have laws,” said Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy. Jamar was a sophomore at Martin Luther King High School. Family members said he was active in sports. Jamar Pinkney, Jr.’s aunt Janice Burkes said she doesn’t believe the allegations of molestation because her nephew was a sweet boy and very good with kids. “No I can’t believe that I think. It’s a bunch of crap,” said Burkes. A candlelight vigil for the victim was held Tuesday evening in Highland Park. His funeral has been set for Monday. A fund has been set up to help the family with burial expenses. Donations can be made at the Charter One Bank branch in Highland Park.

All I can say is damn.
Wow what’s happening in our world today that is sad and very tragic instead of getting his son the help he needs he beat him and killed him what would he had done to a total stranger.
Maybe the dad molested the son and it was going to come out, because the girl had told that she was molested by the son..and he killed the son to shut him up. Ya never know!

this is a very tragic situation. kids need better role models. Parents need to raise their kids instead of TV and media. It’s ashame that both of those situations happened. Kids need to be taught about sex and molestation, and the negative effects that it has. Parents should not be scared to talk to their kids about those topics, because ultimately, those talks can save young lives. The father had a right to be angry, but no anger is worth shedding the blood of your own son. tragic indeed.
The sad part about all the chaos in the world today is that it’s only going to get worse…..Now days it’s always good to WATCH as well as PRAY! It’s a fine line between sane and insanity : (
WOW!!! I had to read the Headline twice.. This is very shameful. Whatever happened to counseling?? It would be different (not justifiable, though) if this was some other MAN on the street touching his daughter, but that’s his flesh and blood, AND He was only 15! Sad…
People may judge but you never know what you will do in a situation until your faced with it. Imagine if that were your DAUGHTER!!! You would want vengeance also, i have a 3yrs old girl and your damn right I might of did that same exact thing in the heat of the moment. Now think about what the daughter may go through… studies show that young girls who were molested young grow up to be ladies who lead a hard life and don’t value their body i pray that doesn’t happen to her thats who im praying for shes the bi-standard in this story
I personally thinks this guy deserves to burn in hell. I don’t what your child has done you are not God you can’t just take his life you should have gotten the death sentence……
Sandy, We ALL do understand that it was his 3 year old daughter. What’s Bizzare about the situation is not the fact that he killed for his child, but that he killed HIS OWN SON For his Child.
This is not the first time A sibling has molested another, Sadly.. And they don’t get executed for it.
This is why we have Counseling and Psychiatrists. Trust me, If they didn’t work, they wouldn’t be paid out the ass.

I think the father reacted before he knew it and killed his son out of rage, anger, shock, disbelief, hurt, confusion. I mean you should be able to trust your kids around their siblings, and everyone handle situations differently so we as individuals have to be real careful when we tell people things we know will send them over the edge. I understand why he did it because I HATE anyone who harms any child, especially in this way, but it is never right to take another human life., and I know he’s regretting it now. Also, there need to be stiffer laws against both adults and children who abuse children in this way, there is not being enough done to these monsters, a couple years in prison and then their out to terrorize someone else’s child.
I agree when someone said there must be more to the story. Someone else pointed out there may be a cyle of molestation in that family. The point is that the father was obviously mentally ill himself to go to that extent. He could have taken his son to get counseling. His son was obviously crying for help when he confessed. The African American community strongly needs to gain awareness on the power of counseling and importance of good mental health.

When I say mentally ill, that could also mean the the father temporarily went insane after hearing the news of his daughter being molested. Maybe the son and father were already having issues with one another. I am sure the picture will become clear after more facts are collected about their father and son relationship in the past, and facts about the fathers state of mind after hearing the news. The whole story is horribly sad! Crimes get more and more tragic as the years pass. May God help our community and the nation.

He was an angry father who probably even forgot about laws and the world for that moment. People might say that that is making excuses for him, but I really don’t think so. If I can get so upset over the gang rape that took place recently or Shania’s kidnap, whatever else, and murder, then just imagine the pain that man must have felt. The f*cking child is only three years old.
And the stupid mother who’s speaking out now … Where the f*ck was she when she was supposed to be teaching the disgusting animal about morals and right from wrong and everything else? If I were her I’d be shamed to the point that I wouldn’t show my face in the media or say a word.
And another thing … I wonder what they would have done to the boy, had the father not kill him. Send him to counseling and put up some restraining order? That’s what they always do … where’s the punishment in that? I hate it that the victims have to suffer more than the criminals.
If my son was to ever put his hands on his sister only heaven knows what I would do to him. And it’s not just the fact that its his sister … it’s the girls age. What?…. are they going to say that the boy had some sort of psychological disorder?
And no matter what anyone says, I can never be convinced that that man didn’t act upon anger. And if it’s not understandable to you where that anger came from then may God be with you. I think maybe the son was doing what was done to him by the father and wanted it to come out. The father acted very abruptly in killing his own son, instead of trying some therapy or else. It’s very possible that the dad was molesting him and all was about to hit the fan.
Man!! It seems like everyday I hear or read about unimaginable events going on in our world…Jesus! My heart aches for the children. What the son did was disgraceful and fowl. Which is worse: The actions of the son or the father? In my, the son was old enough to get his a** kicked as punishment THEN turning to professionals for help or even calling the cops would’ve even been justified. But putting a gun to your 15 year-old child’s head while he’s crying, “No,daddy!” and pulling the trigger is beyond all humanity. This young black boy obviously had some serious problems yet the dad removed any chance of healing for his daughter or the family.

I hope the father receives counseling and get the mental healthcare he needs, obviously he was traumatized by the molestation!
If his hands are dirty in regards to his late son, the truth will come out!
But, I understand how he did it! Child molestation has occurred in my family more often than I would have liked. The damage is so far-reaching and the offenders don’t readily stop and the success rate of recovery isn’t promising. My sister molested her own daughter, around 8 years old, along with her boyfriend, savagely and I came very close to killing her. I almost choked her to death, a family member pulled me off of her. I felt what it is like to lose all reason. This is no comparison to a father killing his own child, but I can relate. To be honest, I don’t feel a lot of sympathy for the son. I’m so tire of kids being molested, I have no more pity. I work with high-risk teens, so I see and hear the stories. The recent death of that beautiful baby at the hands of her mother and that image of her with him at that hotel, all the priests molesting kids, relatives, family friends, teachers, coaches, kids are in elementary school molesting other kids.
We have to continue to pray for the safety of our kids. Pray that the bad guys stay locked up. Pray that child predators are exposed before they hurt and destroy lives, because there is no one profile! God have mercy on us!
I am not saying what the father did was right but once a sex offender always a sex offender. The problem I have is what if it wasn’t really what he thought it was, he won’t be able to take that back.
I am sure there is something behind teh curtain, most probably the father has somthing to hide by eliminating his own son.
Or he is a stupid black man whose mind is fixed with his new girl firend and killed his own son to appease his lady.
Regardless, the fatehr is a sick , satanic, heartless man does not deserve to be in this world, so they shold have speedy trial and hang him publicl, or burn him alive.

First of all the 3 year old is the VICTIM as well as the 15 yearold!!! We have two children that come from the same man and he takes the life of one for allegedly molesting the other. The boy should have recieved help! For his father to respond in that manner only makes me think that he was probably the stem of that boy’s problem’s ; not saying that he molested him but his obvious neglect and love for this child is evident!!!! He ia a sick, callous individual that needs alot of prayer!!!!! Only God knows what kind of punishment he(the father) deserves after just as he was the boy’s father God is the father of all~ Let’s see what his father deems neccessary!!!!!!

This may sound harsh and a little cold but the kid admitted to it…and one crazy took out another crazy and now that crazy will be locked up forever!!! Now by my count its a win win! A possible future child molester is dead and his killer is locked up. 2 ppl off the streets we don’t have to worry about. Justice is rarely ever served! B/c we as people do not value it…and for proof of that look at how the laws apply to different folk in different classes. This may have been the best justice…between father and son. Lets face it, in America things are laxer than compared to the rest of the world. You steal in certain countries in the middle east you get your hand chopped off! In some countries your first drinking and driving offense gets you the death penalty! Maybe this wasn’t U.S. justice. Maybe this was karmic justice. Think about it that could have you daughter and your son. What would you have done to the boy? How would you have felt if he’d did that to your daughter or son? Lock them up and they get out doing the same thing over and over again.
The way he did it was extreme but, that’s what a victim feel like doing to their abuser. The young bo killed his three year old sister mentally. Had he just got punished, he would have continue mentally, physically, and emotioally killing that little girl. If the judge would have seen someone doing the same thing to his or her little daughter they would have done the same, or at least wanted to. This man just reacted on his first intuition. Yes! he should do time for murder but, not life because now his little girl will never have someone to fully protect her fully. Some of you are probably “saying she’s only 3″ she won’t remember.
